Something new is coming

I am so excited to a announce something new to look forward to in Coffee, Cake & Color. 

But first allow me to rewind a little...

I started Coffee, Cake & Color as an expression of my personal journey as a human being. In CC*C I'm testing out theories on how to cope with the dark side of life. Especially because I have been going through a tough time myself. Long story short, at the beginning of 2025 my theory was that, to cope with life, we need to connect with people, we need to celebrate life with them, and we need to search for the beautiful things that surround us. That is Coffee for connection, Cake for celebration and Color for beauty.

As the year progressed (it is now mid 2025) my theory changed somewhat.

Now I think that our greatest problem as a society is not that we are disconnected from one another, but that we are greatly disconnected from ourselves. I think this is the reason why we find it so extremely difficult to connect with other people. So now Coffee is about connecting with yourself, Cake is about celebrating the present moment and Color is about exploring your creative side as a way of expressing yourself and not impressing others.

Okay, let's get back to the exciting news!

Starting August 2025 Coffee, Cake & Color is launching a whole new line of art workshops aimed at teaching art basics. But we will also focus on helping people having a cup of coffee with themselves, enjoying the present, and expressing their innermost feelings by emerging themselves in creativity.

We will do this by hosting art events at different locations.
